Davis Rhodes

Davis Rhodes (Victoria B.C., Canada, 1983). Lives and works in New York, USA. He holds an MFA from Columbia University, NY.

Davis Rhodes’ work has been the subject of international exhibitions most recently at Ύλη[matter]HYLE, Athens; Office Baroque, Brussels; Societé, Berlin. Institutional presentations include Cressman Center for Visual Arts, Louisville;  White Flag Projects, St. Louis; The Kitchen, New York; Sammlung Haubrok, Berlin; MuZee, Ostend, among others.

Davis Rhodes is a New York based artist who uses traditional as well as industrial and graphic display materials to interrogate the grammar of the painted surface.
